Approved Occupancy Permit
The following are the sections of an approved occupational permit.
Dates Valid
The dates valid of the permit are provided. Which can include:
- A start date with no end date
- A start date and end date
Domain Name
The domain name is optional, as some businesses might not want to have a technology infrastructure, otherwise the domain suffix is provided during an appointment.
Domain Suffix
A NITS domain suffix is provided to provide details to the market about the business, including:
- Category
- Description
- Service containers available and their NITS Operational API specifications
Contact Information
Contact information is provided by the parcel.
Virtual parcels can be issued to negate the contact information of the entity.
Virtual parcels are issued based on:
- NITS making them optional or required based on the domain suffix
- Defined in the Homeland Security Certificate for national security purposes
Virtual Parcel Override
We will have to play this one by ear, but planning could provide a virtual permit if they decide its necessary based on various circumstances of the district and override the NITS domain suffix requirements.
In either case there will be an ability to notify the NITS to change requirements for the domain suffix specifically, or the domain suffix and the associated district.
Address Information
The complete address from the parcel, along with a link to the citizens various registered map services.
Phone Number
The general phone number associated in the businesses communication provider, where a FCC container dial pad can be opened.
Service Containers
If the hosting provider submits the NITS service container types to the planning agency they will be associated and listed.
The planning agency will assign service containers to the domain zone layouts defined on the parcel.
The public will have the ability to view what domain zones applications are available internally or externally based on their location context in which the permit is viewed.
They will also be able to run applications if they are in zone.
Security Policy Permissions
Each occupational permit will have a security policy that can be associated to it, where a default one will be provided based on the domain suffix with locked attributes.
These associations are made on the domain, and if service container types are provided they are applied specifically from the service containers where NITS assigns them as required or optional.
Security policies can conflict between the occupational permit, and the service containers.
The agent associating the security policies will have to choose to reject various aspects of the service policy, or one or many service containers back to the hosting provider.
Details
One security policy enforcement during the security policy provisioning is the domain age range restrictions during sign-in.
Legislation will be managed at the Commerce Department around what is the minimum age to start a businesses where no age restrictions are required for sign-in.
In this case, it's important the security policy age restriction categories are enforced in the security policy's domain sign-in.
Device Restrictions
Device restrictions render devices incapable of various services.
NITS service containers provide them as required or optional.
Planning can add additional device restriction if the permit requires it.
Device restrictions can conflict between the occupational permit, and the service containers.
The agent associating the device restrictions will have to choose to reject various device restrictions, or one or many service containers back to the hosting provider.
Accessibility
Specific Human and Health accessibly information is associated to the permit to define what capabilities citizens with disabilities have at the place of business.

The business then selects one, and completes the SEC communication provider agreement.
The SEC agreement then provides a one-time pass key to the post office to initate services.
Socket Communication Provider
A directory of NITS domain suffixes for businesses socket providers are avilable for the busines to choose their offering.
The business then selects one, and completes the SEC Socket Provider Agreement.
The SEC agreement then provides a one-time pass key to the post office to initate services.
Insurance
Insurance must be provided by a licensed Insurance Commission agent via an .insurance-agent directory based on the insurance requirements of the domain suffix at the federal and district level.
Proper Language
The owner of the domain can mark it for proper language only, where all content must use words defined in the Federal Administration dictionary.

Login Requirements
Based on the domain suffix the NITS will provide the login profile requirements.
Review Sites
NITS approved review sites are available for the domain suffix to provide reviews by citizens in various ways including:
- One receipts related to the domain
- The operational permit domain zone application
- Via the web browser
An average rating will be provided based on a 5 start rating provided by the registered review sites APIs.
Terms of Service & Privacy Policies
Terms & Service Policies will be requested from the hosting provider where they have access to each service container's terms and service policies which includes the details along with a link to view the page at the hosting provider.
The authentications service container will be domain wide, where the other ones will be service containers based.
Support Page
Support information will be requested from the hosting provider where they have access to each service container's support information which includes an e-mail address and phone number along with a link to view the page at the hosting provider.

Agency Approval
A list of agencies and the licensed agent (planning department access only) that approved the various stages of the permit process are provided to the occupational permit for the market.
Business Closure
The requirements are defined on who is responsible and what is required if the business closes pertinently, or for an approved specified about of time.
