Homeland Security - DNS Services

THe following are the requirements for the DNS Service.

Permitted Websites

A request to NITS - Website Type Services is made to understand the permit requirements of the website type, where the permit requirement is checked and the results are cached until an error occurs verifying the correct permit.

For Occupancy Permits the happens in parallel:

• Operational Permit is queried with approved Operational Services and their checksum.
• The checksum is validated at the website using the NITS

Certified Web Components

• A request can be made for a Certified Web Component Access Token from Media Agency - Website Content Services where its returned with the DNS request.
