NITS - Routing & Mapping Agency

• The NTIS will manage a directory of routes & maps from from various civil agencies mapping and routing agencies.

• Standards will be developed for routing and maps.

• An API will be available from services to receive maps based on a citizens location. The API will provide maps at levels and layers. For example, you could press a website location button in a district and get a district city map, and then get a hiking trail layer. You could then move up a level and get a federal map based on your associated map service.
