Technical Requirements

The following are the technical requirements for website visits and registrations.

Website Visits

parental-control.ftc.civil-agency send a request to citizen-profile-services.ss-digital.civil-agency with the Single Sign On Transaction Profiles of the guardian.

For each dependent, a list of websites is returned from the Citizen Profile - Visited Websites Service where a list of Single Sign On Transaction Profiles are returned.

Website Registrations

parental-control.ftc.civil-agency send a request to citizen-profile-services.ss-digital.civil-agency with the Single Sign On Transaction Profiles of the guardian.

For each dependent, a list of registrations are returned from the Citizen Profile - Website Registration Services where a list of Website Registration Profiles are returned.

Removing Sessions

• An Authorized Profile is received from citizen-service.ss-digital.civil-agency from a provided domain name.
• The FCC Device ID and Session Key is received from the Authorized Profile where its provided to fcc services where the session is removed.

Prohibiting Domain Name & NITS Website Category Codes

The FTC provides citizen-service.ss-digital.civil-agency either a domain name, or an NITS Domain Suffix Category Code where its added to the Citizens Profile's Security Profile - Domain Restrictions.
