A domain to domain handshake is done between the Streaming Service Domain and the Content Streaming Provider where a Auth Profile is received.

Integrated Media Player

When the owner's domain provides the stream service URL to play via JavaScript the integrated FCC Container's Media Player plays the URL and renders the content.

Certified Web Component

For integrated content in a web page, the domain owner associates their Live Media Profile ID to the Live Media Certified Web Component where it validates via the Media Streaming Service API.

Permissions are granted with a domain to domain Handshake from fcc.gov to Media Streaming Services API where the Auth Profile is received.
